September 21, 2007 Midway Speedway, Lebanon, MO

The final race of the WOW racing sprints was on Friday night at Midway Speedway in Lebanon, MO.  Twenty cars attended the night.  Brad would start his chase for sixth place in points on the front row of the second heat.  Brad took the green flag and never looked back running eight perfect laps to win the heat.

The invert for the A feature landed Brad in the fourth starting place.  A strong car was lost early in the race as Brad got together with another car.  Brad was able to hold on to a top ten finish ending up in tenth place.  Toby Brown went on for the win followed by Josh Fisher, Kyle Bellm, Rusty Potter and Eric Todd.  The tenth place finish allowed Brad to wrap up sixth place in points for the year.

A special thanks goes out to all sponsors and supporters from what was a roller coaster ride of a season.  Look for Brad back on a track near you next year as he tries to improve upon this year.

September 15, 2007 24 Raceway, Moberly, MO

Brad joined the rest of the WOW drivers Saturday night at 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO.  With only two races left Brad's main goal is to finish sixth in points as the top five are in a battle with themselves.  Brad started his chase fifth in the second of three heats.  Brad quickly made his way into the top three where he was able to run strong until Jonathan Cornell was able to pass him as the laps were winding down.  Brad finished in fourth and would go to the A feature.

Starting eleventh in the feature Brad was eyeing a top ten finish.  Brad was able to hold his own during the opening laps of the race until a bobble in turns one and two caused Brad to fall back in the pack.  Brad was able to save a late race spin on the dry slick track, but lost a ton of speed that allowed several other cars to get by.  Brad went on to finish the night in fifteenth.  With Tyler Blank and Steve Mahannah finishing behind Brad for the night Brad was able to move up into sixth place in points.  Brian Brown went on for the win for the second week in a row followed by points leader Randy Martin, Terry Hinck, Natalie Sather and Jonathan Cornell.

The WOW will make their last appearance Friday night at Midway Raceway in Lebanon, MO.  Come out and cheer Brad, and the other WOW drivers, on as he fights to hold on to sixth place in the points!

September 8, 2007 Valley Speedway, Grain Valley, MO

The WOW Sprints entered into the final month of racing on Saturday night at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO.  Brad continued his point chase on the pole in the third of four heats.  Brad was quickly passed by Brian Brown and Josh Fisher by the end of the second lap.  Brad ran a strong third before getting passed on the back straight on the white flag lap by Tyler Blank.  Brad would hold on for fourth and move to the A feature.

Brad started fifteenth in the A feature.  While running the bottom, several cars were able to get around him on the top.  Once Brad moved to the top of the track he was able to find some speed, but by this time it was too late in the race.  Brad finished the night in seventeenth.  Brian Brown went on for the win.  Josh Fisher, Jay Russell, Jesse Hockett and Larry Pinegar rounded out the top ten.  Only two nights of racing remain starting next weekend at 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO.

September 2, 2007 Lake Ozark Speedway, Eldon, MO

After an up and down night on Saturday night Brad looked forward to getting back on the track on Sunday night for the final night of the Lake Ozark 360 Nationals at Eldon, MO.  With the top pot of $3000 to win everybody was pushing hard for the win.  Forty-eight cars join on the second night with Brad starting fifth in last of five heats.  Brad was not able to move up, but was able to hold his spot finishing in fifth.

The fifth place finish moved Brad to the first of two B features.  Brad had moved to fourth by lap three when he and another car got together causing Brad to spin.  Once Brad had to move to the back he concentrated more on keeping the car in one piece and less about pressing the issue.  Brad went on for the ninth place finish ending what was a long weekend of racing.  Robbie Standridge went on for the A feature win.  Kaley Gharst was second, Jerrod Hull third, Jesse Hockett fourth and Matt Sutton fifth.  For more news and results from this weekend's racing see the WOW homepage at www.wowsprints.homestead.com.  The next race will be next weekend at Grain Valley, MO.  Hope to see you there!

September 1, 2007 Lake Ozark Speedway, Eldon, MO

Saturday night kicked off the first of two nights of racing at the Lake Ozark 360 Nationals at Eldon, MO.  A total of fifty cars attended the event that included WOW and Sprint Invader drivers.  Brad started third in the first of six heats.  With a fast car and a one lane track Brad was able to jump into second place where he would finish comfortably.

The strong finish in the heat race put Brad seventh to start the A feature.  Unfortunately Brad was not able to hold on to a top ten finish.  After missing the setup and getting out of the main groove Brad slipped all the back to a seventeenth place finish.  Jesse Hockett went on for the win followed by Brad Best, Jared Hull, Randy Martin and Tim Montgomery rounding out the top five.

August 31, 2007 Double X Speedway, California, MO

Three nights of racing kicked off at Double X Speedway in California, MO on Friday night.  A disappointing finish due to rain the last time out had Brad and the team ready to get back on the track.  Brad started sixth in the second of three heats.  Even with a strong car Brad was only able to move up to a fourth place finish.  This still would move Brad to the A feature.

Starting eleventh in the feature Brad had one of the stronger cars on the track.  Brad was able to avoid the trouble several other cars had and was able to use cautions to move up through the pack.  By the time the night was over Brad had his second top five of the year finishing fourth just ahead of points leader Randy Martin.  Stuart Snyder got his first WOW win with Jesse Hockett and Lanny Carpenter finishing out the rest of the top five.

August 19, 2007 State Fair Speedway, Sedalia, MO

The Winged Outlaw Warriors wrapped up the Missouri State Fair on Sunday night at the State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, MO.  Twenty-two cars attended the event with Brad starting eighth in first of three heats.  As the heat race progressed a part malfunction caused Brad to loose full control and get into the wall gently laying the car over on its side.  Brad would not be able to continue finishing eighth.

As Brad and the rest of the WOW drivers were preparing for the A feature mother nature stole the show.  A heavy rain storm came through ending the night of racing.  Points were given on what would have been the starting lineup of the A feature.  This gave Brian Brown the top spot with Steve Mahannah, Terry Hinck, Jon Corbin and Randy Martin rounding out the top five.  Brad and the rest of the WOW have a week off before three nights of racing over Labor Day weekend.  See www.wowsprints.homestead.com for more news and results for the WOW Sprints.

August 18, 2007 I-44 Speedway, Lebanon, MO

After a couple of weeks off Brad and the rest of the WOW sprints invaded I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, MO on Saturday night.  With only fifteen cars attending the event it looked like a good points night for Brad.  After a number one draw put Brad on the pole for the first heat Brad was in control of his own destiny.  On the start Brad slipped back to third, but before the first lap could be completed a caution came out causing an original line up restart.  Brad was able to get a better run on the second start, but was not able to stay in front of Terry Hinck.  A strong second place finish moved Brad to the A feature.

Starting third in the A feature it looked like Brad would have a chance for a strong finish.  As the field came past to complete lap one Brad missed his mark in turns one and two spinning out.  Brad then started at the back of the pack on the restart.  Brad would end the night with a top ten finish in tenth.  Josh Fisher went on for the win followed by Randy Martin, Terry Hinck, Rusty Potter and Frank Brown.  The WOW will make a rare Sunday night appearance at State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, MO as part of the Missouri State Fair on Sunday August 19.

July 29, 2007 Double X Speedway, California, MO

After a week off the WOW sprints made an appearance at Double X Speedway in California, MO on Sunday evening.  A good showing of twenty-two cars attended the Clyde Wood Memorial.  Brad started the night third in the third heat race.  Curtis Boyer and Brad battled back and forth all race long.  A late race slide job by Brad gave him the third finishing spot.  This would send Brad to the A feature.

Brad started ninth in the A feature.  A dry slick track and a missed setup made Brad's job difficult.  By the time the car came in half way through the race Brad had slipped back just inside the top fifteen.  He started to make his way thought traffic and was able to move up three spots in the final turn as three cars spun together.  Brad went on for the eleventh place finish just missing his second straight top ten finish.  Jesse Gianetto went on for the win followed by Jesse Hockett, Terry Hinck, Tyler Blank and Rusty Potter.  The WOW sprints have the next couple weeks off as a handful of drivers make their way north to Knoxville, IA for the Brodix Tournament of Champions.  See more news and results for the WOW racing series at www.wowsprints.homestead.com.

July 28, 2007 Lake Ozark Speedway, Eldon, MO

Brad attended the weekly show at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO on Saturday night.  With the WOW racing on Sunday night Brad took advantage of the Saturday night free.  Twenty-six cars attended the show with Brad starting second in the second heat race.  Brad quickly took advantage of the good starting position as he lead the field into turn one.  The setup was right on and the track was fast.  Brad ran the cushion to his first heat race win of the year.

The strong run in the heat race put Brad second to start the dash.  He was able to have a strong running again, but not able to gain ground on the leader finishing where he started in second.  This would also put him in the second starting position of the A feature.  The demon of bad luck again struck in the A feature.  As Brad continued to run the cushion in the feature the track started to slick off.  A early race slip caused Brad to slip back to around thirteenth by lap six.  He was starting to make his way back into the top ten when a late race caution caused Brad to have to pull off as the car stalled.  Brad ended finishing the night fourteenth.  See www.lakeozarkspeedway.com for more results from Saturday night.

July 14, 2007 24 Raceway, Moberly, MO

The next race for Brad and the WOW sprints was at the 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO.  A small crowd of only sixteen cars attended this night that looked like could be rained out.  Brad started third in the first of three heats.  Fighting a loose car Brad was not able to hold his position and finished in sixth.

With dark skies looming the WOW quickly finished their heat races and went directly into the A feature.  The short turn around seemed to play into Brad's hands.  Starting twelfth he had his work cut out for him.  Brad quickly started to work his way through the field as he found himself in the top ten after a handful of laps.  As he continued to pick cars off he found himself just outside the top five when a caution came out.  After having the top two cars move to the back due to changing flat right rear tires Brad ended up finishing the night fifth after being as high as fourth.

Josh Fisher went on for the win followed by Jon Corbin, Curtis Boyer, Jesse Gianetto with Brad rounding out the top five.  The next WOW race will be Sunday night July 29 at Double X Speedway in California, MO.  Come out and see Brad and all the other WOW drivers!

July 8, 2007 LA Raceway, La Monte, MO

The WOW wrapped up a long week of racing at LA Raceway in La Monte, MO on Sunday night.  Thirty-one cars attended the event that was the fourth in six days.  Brad started seventh in the last of four heats.  On a track that was dry slick and a mid race spin Brad was not able to move up and finished in seventh.

Brad started sixth in the second of two B features.  The car was not able to hookup on the dry slick track and Brad was not able to move up finishing in the fifth position.  Danny Lasoski went on for the A feature win followed by Brian Brown, Jason Johnson, Josh Fisher and Jesse Gianetto.  The WOW next race will be Saturday night July 14 at 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO.

July 7, 2007 Lakeside Speedway, Kansas City, KS

Brad and the rest of WOW sprints joined the ASCS at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS on Saturday night.  Brad started fifth in the third of five heats.  Getting used to a new track and making changes that hurt the performance of the car Brad simply went backwards finishing in eighth.

Starting eleventh of the second of two B features the car was starting to run better.  A rough start pushed Brad back to twelfth before he was able to hookup and start his way to the front.  With a late start and short race Brad ended finishing ninth.  Gary Wright went on for the A feature win.  See the WOW homepage for more information.

July 4, 2007 Double X Speedway, California, MO

The WOW sprints invaded Double X Speedway in California, MO for the Daniel McMillin Memorial on Wednesday evening.  This was the second race in as many night and part of the string of four races in six nights.  Brad joined the thirty-three other cars this holiday night.  Brad started outside the front row in the third heat race.  Brad had a strong car and was running in third for several laps.  As the lap were winding down Brad got loose in turn three.  Even though he was able to save it he fell to the back.  With a couple cars dropping out Brad finished in fourth.

Starting the first B feature on the front row it looked promising for Brad to have a chance to get to the A feature.  A lap two spin ended that thought as Brad had to go to the back.  Brad managed to get back to a sixth place finish.

As like the night before full results were not available at this time.  See the WOW homepage for more news and results at www.wowsprints.homestead.com.  See you Saturday night as the WOW and ASCS again team up at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS.

July 3, 2007 State Fair Speedway, Sedalia, MO

The WOW and the ASCS racing series combined for a night for high speed at the half mile State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, MO on Tuesday evening.  Thirty-six car were attendance.  Brad started eighth in the second of five heats.  He had a strong race, but was not able to move up into contention.  Brad finished in sixth place sending him to the second B feature.

Starting fourth in the B feature it looked like Brad would have a chance to make it to the A feature with a strong race.  A slip in turn three though sent him to the back.  With little time left Brad was only able to get back to seventh before the end of the race.

Full race results were not available at the time of publication.  See the WOW website for detailed results at www.wowsprints.homestead.com.  The second of two nights of racing will be tomorrow night at Double X Speedway in California, MO.

June 20, 2007 State Fair Speedway, Sedalia, MO

Brad joined the rest of the Winged Outlaw Warriors at the State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, MO on Wednesday evening for the Michael Ross Memorial.  With Nascar drivers Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne attending the event the competition was at its highest.  Brad started on the pole for the first of what would be four heats.  After some changes on the car between hot laps and the heat race Brad was hopeful the car was back to full power, but unfortunately that was not the case.  Brad did the best with he had and finished the heat race in seventh.

Brad's seventh place finish in the heat race started him third in the first of two B features.  The car seemed to back where it needed to be, but with WOW points leader Randy Martin and Tim Newman starting in front of him he was not able to move up.  Brad finished the feature in his third starting spot.  With only the top two going to the A feature this also ended the night.

Brian Brown went on for the win followed by Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, Josh Fisher and Mike Trent.  The next race will be at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.  This will kick off a stretch of six races in nine days for the Winged Outlaw Warriors.  Make sure to come out and cheer on Brad and all the other WOW drivers!  Check out www.wowsprints.homestead.com for more information on this race and all other WOW events.

June 16, 2007 Springfield Raceway, Springfield, MO

The Winged Outlaw Warriors invaded Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO with Brad having high hopes to make a strong showing for the home town crowd.  Twenty-two cars attended the make up event on Saturday night.  Brad started outside the front row in the first of three heat races.  As the motor struggled to make power due to a fuel issue Brad just did not have what he needed to challenge anybody.  Brad finished the heat race in seventh place.

Brad started at the back of the pack to start the A feature.  As the green flag flew and the pack entered turn two several cars got together on the first lap.  As Brad enter the turn he had no where to go.  He tried to get the car stopped, but still made contact with the side of the spinning car.  As the green flag flew Brad started his march to the front.  With a car that was lacking the needed power to make much head way Brad did the best with what he had.  After a strong showing Brad finished the night in fourteenth place moving up seven spots from his starting spot.  Josh Fisher went on for the win followed by Sean McClelland, Mike Goodman, Kenneth Walker with Randy Martin rounding out the top five.  See the WOW website at www.wowsprints.homestead.com for more information and results.

June 9, 2007 81 Speedway, Wichita, KS

Since the WOW had a weekend off Brad traveled to 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS.  A total of twenty-one cars joined the weekly event.  Brad started seventh in the first of three heats.  With the car more than loose and having trouble in turns three and four Brad where he started in seventh.

Brad started 20th in the A feature.  A first lap wreck moved Brad up four spots to sixteenth.  The car was starting to hook up and Brad was moving through the pack.  As the laps were winding down Brad had to pull of early as the car started to over heat.  Brad got scored for a sixteenth place finish.

May 26, 2007 24 Raceway, Moberly, MO

On Saturday night the WOW series made a stop at 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO for the Gary Scott Memorial.  Twenty-five cars attended the event in which rain delayed the start.  Brad started the night eighth in the second of three heats.  As the race got underway Brad quickly moved up four spots to fourth.  However with the car not quite running right he was unable to climb any higher.

Starting eleventh in the A feature Brad had his work cut out for him.  With the motor at a miss and lacking the needed power to move through the field Brad ended up finishing fourteenth in what was an uneventful feature race.  Brian Brown attended the race after getting rained out in Knoxville and went on for the win.  Randy Martin, Josh Fisher, Jesse Hockett and Tim Newman rounded out the top five.

The race scheduled for May 27 at Double X Speedway in California, MO was cancelled due to rain.  No decision has been made on if and when the race will be made up.  The next WOW race will be in Brad's home city of Springfield, MO at Springfield Raceway.

May 19, 2007 Lake Ozark Speedway, Eldon, MO

Brad joined a handful of WOW drivers at the Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO Saturday night.  Three of the twenty-one cars that joined on Saturday were WOW regulars.  Brad started fourth in the last of three heats, but did not stay there long.  As the green flag flew for the start of the race Brad quickly jumped in the second position.  He would stay there for most of the race until he got together with Robbie Standridge fighting for the position.  The damage was substantial to he front end and Brad was done for the heat.

Brad's sixth place finish in the heat put him eighteenth out of the twenty cars that started the A feature.  The A feature turned out to be the survival of the fittest.  On the restart, after a lap two caution, about six cars got together bringing out the red flag.  Brad was able to go to the infield and miss the malay ahead of him.  This put Brad just outside the top ten.  As cars continued to drop out Brad stayed comfortably out of harms way.  The last caution flag of the night flew with just two laps to go.  Brad had patiently been watching the two cars in front of him battle it out.  As they came around to take the white flag Brad drove hard under both cars as they slid up the track taking the seventh position away from both drivers.

Jared Hull went on for the win.  He was followed by Erik Schrock, Dustin Barks, Curtis Evans, Lanny Carpenter and Christopher Sloan.  Next week Brad teams up with the WOW for two nights of high flying racing at Moberly, MO on Saturday evening and California, MO on Sunday.

May 5, 2007 LA Raceway, La Monte, MO

After what turned out to be a rough first month of the season Brad started to get on the right track in May.  Brad and the team joined all the other WOW drivers at LA Raceway in La Monte, MO Saturday night.  Twenty-one cars attended the event with Brad starting fifth in the second of three heats.  Brad had a strong race with several drivers, but with the motor starving for fuel on the top end Brad could not make any progress.  He ended up finishing where he started in fifth.

In the B feature, Brad took advantage of his starting position as he started outside front row.  He ran ten strong laps to finish second and advance to the A feature.  Starting fourteenth in the A Brad struggled on the start as several cars got around him.  After he got a handle on the car he started to move through the pack.  After only a handful of laps Brad found himself mid-pack in tenth.  As the laps started to run down he was in a battle with four other cars for position.  In order to miss two spinning cars that got together in front of him, Brad ended up going over the embankment, stalling the motor.  This, unfortunately, moved Brad to the back of the pack with only a couple laps left.  He was unable to move up very far and finished sixteenth.

This has become the year of first time winners as Josh Fisher went on for his first WOW feature win.  He was followed by Randy Martin, Jesse Gianetto, Gabe Maycock and Rusty Potter.  The WOW has the next couple weeks off.  We will see you in Moberly and California Memorial weekend!

April 29, 2007 State Fair Speedway, Sedalia, MO

The toughest night of racing so far in the young race season was Sunday night at Sedalia, MO for the Bob Ramey Memorial.  With thirty cars attending Brad started sixth in the third of four heats.  With the likes of Randy Martin and Danny Lasoski in the same heat Brad was not able to mount much of a challenge, but was able to hang close to the pack and finished seventh.

With his finish in the heat Brad started tenth in the B feature.  Like the night before Brad lost track position in early parts of the race.  This night he was able to recover and ended up finishing right were he started in tenth.

Danny Lasoski went on to win the A feature.  Brian Brown, Jesse Gianetto, Kale Gharst and Gabe Maycock rounded out the top five.  Make sure to see Brad and the rest of the WOW series next Saturday at La Monte, MO.

April 28, 2007 24 Raceway, Moberly, MO

The WOW series attended the 24 Raceway in Moberly, MO on Saturday night.  Twenty cars attended the race.  Brad started outside row one in the second heat.  With the car not quite right and stiff competition in the race Brad finished fifth.

Starting tenth in the feature Brad went backward before the car finally hooked up.  Once the car did come together he was able to make it back around several cars.  By that time the laps were running down.  Brad finished the night in thirteenth.

Rusty Potter went on to get his first WOW feature win.  He was followed by Randy Martin, Gabe Maycock, Jesse Gianetto, and Josh Fisher.

April 21, 2007 I-44 Speedway, Lebanon, MO

The race season finally got under way on Saturday night at I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, MO.  Brad was one of only fifteen cars to make the trip.  Brad started fourth in the first of two heats.  With the car tight he struggled for most of the heat race to get a handle on the car.  By the time the race was over he had finished sixth.

Brad then started tenth in the feature race.  The lack of opportunity to work out the bugs in the new car came to show on the first lap of the race.  As two cars got together in front of Brad he had to slam on the brakes to stay out of the wreck.  This caused damage to the front brake rotor locking the left front tire.  Without the opportunity to fix the car he was unable to get back on the track ending his night.

Gabe Maycock went on to get his first WOW feature win.  Maycock was followed by Curtis Boyer, Toby Brown, Randy Martin with Rusty Potter rounding out the top five.  Make sure to come see Brad and all the other WOW drivers next weekend for two nights of racing starting on Saturday at Moberly, MO and ending Sunday night at Sedalia, MO.
